LAVELY JUST CLOSED FIVE PLAYS IN ONE YEAR!

BROADWAY WORLD SAYS LAVELY'S; "QUICK-TONGUE, CONFIDENCE, ENERGY, AND SPUNK MAKE PERFECT FOR THE ROLE." (review from Possessing Harriet by Kyle Bass)

2023 "FIVE PLAYS IN ONE YEAR!": BABEL by Jacqueline Goldfinger, THE LAST MATCH by Anna Ziegler, A COMEDY OF TENORS by Ken Ludwig at Florida Studio Theatre.  Richard III with NY Classical Stage Co.  MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS by Ken Ludwig at Maltz Jupiter Theatre.

Lucy is a New York City based actress and artist.  She enjoys Shakespeare, sunshine, salsa and chips, new plays, dancing, and adventures!  She values spending time with her friends and fellow artists, making memories on and off stage!

Lavely's portrayed LADY MACBETH twice on stage at Orlando Shakes and Theatre at Monmouth.  "Lucy Lavely does a sensational job as Lady Macbeth, portraying her at first like a giddy teen wildly in love with a guy on the football team, and eager to make sure he remains their star player. She’s especially good once Macbeth’s guilty conscience starts gnawing at him and Lady Macbeth needs to cover their tracks." - Freeline Media Orlando

She originated the role of Elizabeth Cady Stanton at Syracuse Stage in the world premiere of Possessing Harriet by Kyle Bass directed by Tazewell Thompson.  From the playwright; "The 24-year-old forward thinking woman, who went on to be a torchbearer of women’s rights and the abolition of slavery, is portrayed by Lucy Lavely in an inimitable manner. She could well hold the reins of the show. Watch for the delicate display of her racial undertones and her references to the status of women in America as secondary to men" -Kyle Bass
