Lucy is a New York City based actress and artist. She enjoys Shakespeare, new plays, dancing, and adventures! She values spending time with her friends and fellow artists of NYC, making memories on and off stage! She originated the role of Elizabeth Cady Stanton at Syracuse Stage in the world premiere of Possessing Harriet by Kyle Bass directed by Tazewell Thompson. USA Premieres; The Jedi Handbook (Adirondack Theatre Festival), Chicken Shop (Urbanite Theatre). Regional Premieres; The Taming (Shakespeare and Co.). Other favorite credits include Macbeth (Orlando Shakespeare) Macbeth (Theatre at Monmouth), The White Snake (Baltimore Center Stage), The Widow of Tom's Hill (59 East 59), One Man Two Guvnors (Pioneer Theatre Company), Other Desert Cities (Asolo Repertory Theatre), and Crimes of the Heart (Banyan Theatre Co.).
Lavely is the Producing Artistic Director of the Night Shift Theatre Company, based in Manhattan. Their mission is "truth in storytelling, life on stage." They host the monthly event DRUNKEN SHAKESPEARE at Bar Nine on #AEADAYOFF, Monday nights @8pm! DRUNKEN SHAKESPEARE is the only FREE event of it's kind that encourages professional Billy players AND fans to join in the merriment on stage and strut their Shakespearean swagger! The Night Shift produced a sold out production of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg in 2016, and a production of Measure for Measure in 2017. They have donated 100% of the DRUNKEN SHAKESPEARE raffle proceeds for 2 years to local charities and causes in need of support from the working actors and patrons of New York City!
